Lister la longue suite d’artistes ayant, un jour ou l’autre, croisé la route de Dixiefrog serait sans doute fastidieux tant il y en a eu. Mais il n’est que de citer les noms de Popa Chubby, Eric Bibb, JJ Milteau, Fred Chapellier, Pura Fe, Bill Wyman, Mighty Mo Rodgers, Beverly Jo Scott, Calvin Russell, Sue Foley, Duke Robillard, Neal Black, Lucky Peterson, Tina Turner (oui, oui !) ou Little Bob pour s’en convaincre. Sans oublier de mentionner tous ceux à qui le label de blues a permis d’éclore, comme Rosedale, Bâton Bleu, Bjorn Berge ou Leyla McCalla. Bref, rares sont ceux qui « ne doivent pas une fière chandelle » au label et à son créateur.
